Neck Rings

A neck ring is the threaded part at the neck of a fire extinguisher cylinder, to which the valve is attached. It is fixed to the cylinder body during manufacturing, and the valve is screwed into its thread. We supply neck rings for 1 kg and 6 kg fire extinguishers on a wholesale basis.

What does a neck ring do?

The neck ring connects the cylinder and the valve. For the valve to be attached securely and leak-tight, the thread of the neck ring must match the valve. For this reason, neck rings are chosen according to the cylinder capacity and the valve type to be used.

Who uses neck rings?

Neck rings are mainly used by fire extinguisher manufacturers in cylinder production. We provide wholesale supply for high-volume production.
